Its that time of year when the scary movies come on, and I'm a big fan...especially of the classics. A couple weeks ago I was watching TV and Psycho 2 was on. Why someone attempted to turn a perfect Hitchcock movie into a sequel is beyond me. But it inspired me to look up classic movie titles from the 50s and 60s. Many were very silly titles, but The Thing That Couldn't Die got my creative juices flowing. Thoughts of doctors, scientists, labs, and beakers danced around in my head and helped me come up with a new project. This shoot made me feel like I was creating that thing that just wouldn't die...or maybe like I was working with Walter White :)
Just for fun, here are a few of my favorite 1950s Horror Movie Titles. Bride of the Gorilla, The Brain Eaters, The Thing That Couldn't Die, Teenage Zombies, Attack of the Giant Leeches and Uncle Was a Vampire
