I didn't just stumble upon this 84 Cadillac in Soho. I was working with Lyft and The New Ghostbusters movie for a promo. It was such a time machine. I think it was an 8 cylinder 450 engine that was a converted hearse. It was all so wonderful, just like the original movie.

....still a tad too cold for this guy
walking through a sprinkler at the park is tough, especially when its only 82 degrees out and in the bright sun. ;) That face says it all though.....to cold.
Working on some Unusual Poses Underwater resulted in some excellent Video Footage as well.
While the model and I were trying for some beautifully inspired underwater photography, we also discovered some very interesting video could be created as well. Turns out the lifeguard was once a model and she wanted to get back into the business after watching our shoot. Thats inspiration isn't it?
This young woman was getting the needle when I caught her hands in pain
I was shooting a Tattoo Convention, reflecting on not just the imagery permanently etched onto the skin, but the physical reaction it creates. While the pain is relative, no mater what you can't help your body from flinching and winching. Some say the pain is unbearable, similar to a bad burn, while others liken it to the mild discomfort of an ice cube pressed against your naked skin. Here I was focused on her hands, anticipating the needle's first bite and was really able to capture the essence of the moment.
This little boy was super excited about a Garden Hose, check out pic to see why
Sunny day? Check. Garden hose and sprinkler? Check. Trip to Target for rash guard and swim shorts? Check and check. Mom's outreached arm for security? Check. As a photographer I couldn't really ask for more of a serene situation to capture a timeless moment like this. I was wondering how long this little guy could handle cold water in a shady spot, and was impressed with his determination to explore and have fun. I think young children don't think about the cold and hot the same way adults do. Especially when they are doing something for the first times in their lives.
