I was working on a series a couple years ago, focusing on objects that, on the surface seem straightforward and are meant to help people, but are actually quite controversial and divisive.
To many, birth control is part of everyday schedule taken without much thought, like a vitamin. At the same time it is extremely important, and without it their lives could be drastically different. To others it is something that imposes intense outrage. I find it incredibly interesting how people can look at the same thing and see it so differently.
